Flightstar Nears Completion for Learjet 40/45 STC with Universal Avionics ATN-B1 CPDLC Solution

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Universal Avionics (UA) Authorized Dealer, Flightstar Corporation, is nearing completion of their Learjet 40 and 45 STC for ATN-B1 CPDLC. The STC utilizes the aircraft’s existing UA UNS-1Ew SBAS-FMS and incorporates a new UA UniLink™ UL-801 Communications Management Unit (CMU) and CVR-120 Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR). Upon FAA approval, Flightstar will proceed with EASA, TCCA and ANAC approvals.

Operators have the flexibility to include FANS 1/A+ capabilities with the addition of a TrueNorth Data Link Unit and Iridium Antenna.
