Flightstar to bring the Gogo AVANCE L5 to the Bombardier Learjet 40 and 70 series aircraft with in-progress STC
Champaign, IL (KCMI) – October 11, 2017 – Flightstar Corporation announces the upcoming completion of a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Wi-Fi activation when using the Gogo AVANCE L5 platform. This STC covers Bombardier Learjet 40, 45, 70 and 75 aircraft by demonstrating the aircraft’s tolerances with Wi-Fi Data and ground cellular transmissions. Structural data is included for the installation of the aircraft cabin antennas. The Gogo AVANCE L5 platform (previously know as Gogo Biz 4G LRU) connects operators to the Gogo Biz 4G network, enabling faster inflight internet speeds. AVANCE L5 offers a suite of capabilities including streaming video and audio, moving maps, real-time data for cockpit applications, 4G terrestrial modem, and remote diagnostics with support.
