Aircraft Maintenance
Assistant Project Manager – Corporate Aviation (Part 145)
Flightstar is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support aircraft maintenance and modification projects at our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to start a career in corporate aviation project management, gain hands-on experience, and grow into a full Project Manager role.
Starting Pay: $32–35 per hour
Location: Savoy, IL (KCMI)
Key Responsibilities

Support planning and execution of aircraft maintenance and modification projects in a Part 145 environment

Track project schedules, work scope, and key milestones

Coordinate with clients, maintenance teams, quality, sales teams, and external vendors

Assist with project documentation, status reporting, and compliance records

Participate in maintenance planning meetings and follow up on action items

Support cost tracking, invoicing, and basic contract documentation
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience in an aviation environment)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Interest in aircraft maintenance, MRO operations, and project management
Preferred

Internship or entry-level experience in aircraft maintenance, MRO, or aviation operations

Familiarity with FAA Part 145 regulations

Exposure to project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.) or maintenance tracking systems

A&P Mechanics
Business Aviation Division
Level 2/3 A&P - Starting Pay $35 - $45+ per hour
Level 1 A&P - Starting Pay $28 - $34 per hour

We are actively seeking experienced A&P licensed mechanics. Prior Bombardier airframe experience is preferred.
This job requires a willingness and ability to learn new things, multitask, and be detail-oriented. All applicants must prove to be drug-free, possess a current A&P Mechanic’s license, a valid driver’s license, and have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Airline Division A&P Mechanics
Airline Division
Starting Pay $29 - $35 per hour

As a mechanic for Flightstar’s Airline Division, you will primarily work indoors in some of the newest, cleanest, and well-lit heated hangars in the industry.
This job requires a willingness and ability to learn new things, multi-task, and be detail-oriented. All applicants must prove to be drug-free, possess a current A&P Mechanic’s license, and valid driver’s license, and have the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Details:
- Hourly rates start at $27.15 plus a $2 per hour shift differential
- Increases in starting pay for prior experience.
- Third Shift | 7:30 pm - 6:00 am.

Bombardier Challenger A&P Mechanics
General Aviation Division

Location: Savoy, IL (KCMI)
The Flightstar General Aviation Division is actively seeking A&P Mechanics with experience associated with the Bombardier Challenger line of aircraft for our expanding service facility! Technicians perform scheduled maintenance and inspections for complex modifications and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Experience with the Bombardier Challenger product line and maintenance procedures.
- Valid driver's license.
- Current A&P Mechanics license.
- Completion of drug screening at the time of hire.
- Must be able to read, write, interpret, and speak the English language.
- Candidates must pass background checks before the employment start date.

Aircraft Sheet Metal / Structures Technicians
Structures Division
Starting Pay $27 - $35 per hour
Location: Savoy, IL (KCMI)
Flightstar is actively seeking Aircraft Sheet Metal / Structures Technicians at our Savoy IL, MRO facility. A&P Mechanics license is preferred but not required. The starting salary is dictated by prior experience levels.
Qualifications:

- Candidates must pass background checks before the employment start date.
- Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for Flightstar.
Experienced Avionics Installer
Avionics Division
Starting Pay $22 - $35 per hour
Location: Savoy, IL (KCMI)
The Flightstar Avionics Department is in search of an experienced Avionics Installation and Service Technician. Daily operations range from troubleshooting to complete installation of avionics suites in private aircraft.
Experience with Part 23 and Part 25 aircraft is required and a minimum of 5 years installation experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Prior Part 23 or Part 25 experience.
- Prior avionics installation experience.
- Completion of drug screening at the time of hire.
- Must be able to read, write, interpret, and speak the English language.
- Candidates must pass background checks before the employment start date.
